The konjac sponge is made from the root of the Konjac plant.
It works to gently exfoliate your skin, shedding away dead skin cells, and gives your skin a smooth, glowy complexion.
The sponge is initially hard but softens when soaked in water becoming a very gentle cleanser for the face and body.
Konjac sponges have been used in Japan for centuries, valued for their gentle cleansing properties.
Your lotions and creams will soak in faster after removing dead skin.

DIRECTIONS:
1) For first use, soak in clean water. Rinse sponge under warm water after first use to soften.
2) Apply a small amount of your favourite facial cleanser onto the sponge
3) Rub gently with light pressure in circular motion on face and/or body
4) When finished, rinse thoroughly and gently squeeze excess water, do not wring.
5) Use the sponge 2-3 times per week. Not needed for daily use.
CARE:
Clean with warm soapy water after each use.
You can boil it in water to give it a deep clean once a week or soak it in 1:1 water/vinegar for 5 minutes.
Be sure to hang to dry (not in shower) in a well ventilated area for best results.
CAUTION:
Do not use if you are already using exfoliating acids on your skin
Not intended to remove blackheads
Do not use if you have eczema, rosacea, or active breakouts
